Hi, my name is Romain Laquais, and the purpose of this portfolio is to introduce myself and present my work. I am currently employed as an apprentice at Fives Intralogistics in France, specializing in product design and project management. My ultimate objective at Fives Intralogistics is to autonomously oversee entire projects.

Education

09/2020 – 09/2022

Two-Year University Degree in Mechanical Engineering, IUT Lyon 1.

  • This experience at IUT Lyon 1 was the highlight of my educational journey. We had the opportunity to work with various machinery such as CNC milling and lathe machines. Additionally, we had access to specialized equipment for material testing, as well as conventional milling and lathe machines. The program provided extensive theoretical knowledge and practical application in the workshop.

09/2022 – 09/2025

Engineering School, CESI

  • At CESI, I am currently enrolled in an Engineering program where I am learning project management in a group setting, applying scientific formulas to real-life scenarios. The curriculum emphasizes independent learning and regular examinations to assess our progress and knowledge level.
